The Rival Sniper Turret is a point defense emplacement from Rival Tech. A small number will appear exclusively on Industrial Sabotage missions guarding the Power Stations, mounted to the ceiling. The Caretaker is also able to spawn several at a time on the cave ceiling above it in its second and third phases. Upon spotting a dwarf they will aim their lasers and fire after a delay.
The Sniper Turret has no weakpoint, despite having glowing parts that resemble the weakpoints of other Rival turrets.
Combat
A Sniper Turret, upon spotting a dwarf, will aim and track with its laser for a short period. It eventually stop adjusting its aim, which is indicated by the laser halting all motion and rapidly flashing. The turret then shoots a high damage Focus Shot along the laser path. The laser aiming cycle must occur again before the next shot.
