Deep Rock Galactic provides their mining operatives with a wide variety of weapons and artifacts to help them undertake dangerous solo missions on Hoxxes IV.
Weapons are a dwarf's main line of defense and can be upgraded during a run with Upgrade Cards and Overclocks, or they can be upgraded semi-permanently between missions with Meta Upgrades. Numerous weapons and damage types become available as the player advances their classes.
Artifacts are items awarded to the dwarf throughout the run via an orbital supply drop at each stage of the dive. If activated, the supply will offer a choice of three artifact to choose from, each of those providing a chance to collect more resources, or a small conditional gameplay change (more damage while standing still, for example). Artifacts can be obtained several times during the same run, stacking their effects.
Finally, Bosco is the all-purpose drone that will accompany dwarves on all missions.
Bosco
APD-B317, or Bosco, is a hovering drone that accompanies the player on all dives. He acts autonomously, targeting bugs and firing volleys of bullets on his own. Currently there is no way to influence his attacks, but it is confirmed that he will be upgradeable in the future.
Weapons
The weapon the player starts with depends on the class mod they chose, and more can be chosen at levels 5, 15 and 25 during the dive. The available weapons in that choice will depend on what has been unlocked through completing milestones.
The weapons of Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor are categorized through two parameters: a default class, and tags that describe them and indicates what damage type they deal. The choice of a specific class mod will determine the starting weapon during a dive, and the other weapons will be drawn from a pool made of the class's unlocked default weapons (listed below).

Artifacts
Artifacts are run-specific upgrades that are obtained by completing the supply drop event. During each stage of a dive, one supply drop will spawn on the map. All terrain within its radius must be dug out as indicated by a pickaxe overlay on the terrain (note: crystals and resources will not be marked with the overlay, but must still be mined).
