The Gunner is one of the four playable dwarves of Deep Rock Galactic.
He is also the dwarf you begin with in the Tutorial.

The Gunner's primary weapons consist of the "Lead Storm" Powered Minigun, the "Thunderhead" Heavy Autocannon, and the "Hurricane" Guided Rocket System with which he can deliver high amounts of damage to swarms of enemies while his secondary weapons consist of the "Bulldog" Heavy Revolver, the BRT7 Burst Fire Gun, and the ArmsKore Coil Gun which allow for high damage shots.
To navigate the depths, the Gunner is equipped with a Zipline Gun, which launches a steel-reinforced cable across any pit or chasm. He also possesses the unique Shield Generator, which creates a temporary circular forcefield to protect the Gunner and his allies.
The Gunner has four Throwables to pick from: The Sticky Grenade which is able to stick to anything while inducing a strong fear response, the Incendiary Grenade which coats everything nearby in fire, the Cluster Grenade which explodes into several, smaller grenades, and the Tactical Leadbuster which sprays the area around where it lands in a deluge of bullets.
Equipment
All classes have unique Equipment items, each of which can be individually upgraded using 
Credits and minerals. There are currently six unlockable weapons per class, three primary weapons and three secondary weapons, and each weapon has its own assignment which must be completed in order for it to be unlocked. Once an assignment for a weapon has been completed, it then can be purchased via the upgrade terminal.
