Enor Pearl

Enor Pearl is a Crafting Mineral that can be usually found buried. It can also be stored on the Personal Inventory and Team Depository. It can be bought on the Mineral Trade Terminal for Credit.png 150 Credits, chunks of it can be acquired (only on Salt Pits, Sandblasted Corridors and Radioactive Exclusion Zone) via Huuli Hoarders, Cargo Crates or near Lost Packs.

When the mission is concluded, the Hazard Bonus will dictate how many units the player will get. It is sometimes required to buy equipments, modifications, vanity items and Overclocks. It can be sold for Credit.png 50 Credits in the Mineral Trade Terminal.

Enor Pearls are heavy objects and must be picked up and carried by hand, or via Bosco. When carrying it, a dwarf cannot do anything but throw flares / throwables, ride ziplines, and move with a 25% speed penalty (Sprinting is also disabled). It can be dropped by switching weapons or using the Laser Pointer, it can also be thrown far away by holding the [FIRE] key ("Left Mouse Click" by default) before releasing it.

Appearance

As it appears in-game. The Error Cube's markings(?) are seen in the top right corner
The small pearls marking the large pearl's location.

Enor Pearls are large, shiny, grey, glowing spheres which must be picked up and deposited similar to other resources hidden in the walls.

Enor Pearl chunks use the same model as Bismor , Croppa , Nitra, Jadiz, Umanite, and Hollomite.

Marking their location are smaller white-grey pearls dotting the walls in the area.

Locations

Enor Pearls are common in the Salt Pits and the Sandblasted Corridors, and scarce in the Radioactive Exclusion Zone. They cannot be found anywhere else.

Spawning

The number of Enor pearl spawned in a mission is calculated using 2 values:

  • Biome range: for Enor pearl, Abudant biomes have a value of 2 to 3, and Scarce biomes have a value of 1 (including decimals)
  • Mission Scale: each mission type have a different value (see table)

the final value is calculated with the following formula:

Biome range x Mission Scale

ending in 0.5 or higher will round it up, otherwise it rounds down.

  • Cave generation might affect spawn in rare cases. Escort Duty generation always drastically reduce the number spawned.

Each deposited Enor Pearl can give between 7-18 units when deposited.

Trivia

  • Because of their bright glow, Enor Pearls illuminate a sizeable area until deposited. This can be useful in very dark areas.
  • According to one of the Deep Dive descriptions, Enor Pearls are shaped by the sandstorms in the Sandblasted Corridors.
