Aquarq

From Deep Rock Galactic Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Aquarq crystals are the primary objective during Point Extraction missions, as well as in "Collect Aquarqs" objective in Deep Dives. Either 7 or 10 crystals must be collected and deposited in the Mine Head to count towards the mission objective.

Aquarqs are heavy objects and must be picked up and carried by hand, or via Bosco. When carrying it a Dwarf cannot do anything but throw flares/throwables or ride ziplines, and carrying an Aquarq gives a 25% movement speed penalty (sprinting is also disabled). It can be dropped by throwing using the [FIRE] or [MINE] key. Switching weapons or using the Laser Pointer will also cause your character to drop the Aquarq.

Appearance

As it appears in-game
the blue crystals marking its location

Aquarq is a large blue crystal that uses the same model as Jadiz, Bittergem, and Compressed Gold. Each crystal emits a bright blue glow that is visible through thin walls.

The location of each Aquarq is signified by small blue crystals on surfaces that glow in unlit areas (similar to other materials found embedded in walls). Once an Aquarq has been extracted, the crystals previously surrounding it will no longer glow.

Locations

Aquarqs can be found in any biome whenever they are part of an objective.
