Lunar Festival Animals or otherwise known as the Golden Zodiac Animal Statues is a special event object that only appears during the 2023 Hoxxes Lunar Festival - Zodiac Animal special seasonal event. They are found randomly across the biomes on Hoxxes during this event. They resemble a large golden statue each representing the zodiac animal of the respective Chinese Lunar calendar, for example:
- The Year of the Rabbit has a rabbit with its right paw resting on a giant golden Chinese coin.
- The Year of the Dragon has a dragon curling up on the pedestal of a golden pickaxe.
They can be easily identified by their faint golden-yellow glow. Once mined, they can be carried. They are treated as a heavy object so movement is slowed and the Dwarf cannot fire their weapons. Once deposited, it will grant the Players a x2 
bonus.
They can be identified through the Terrain Scanner via a zodiac animal icon (i.e. rabbit, dog, dragon, etc).

They only appear during 2023 Hoxxes Lunar Festival. It is considered a special event object.

- The statue remains the only special event item where it changes each year. This is obviously to commemorate the respective year of that particular zodiac animal as per the Chinese Zodiac for the Lunar New Year.
- Judging by one of the quotes from Mission Control, it seems that the shuttle pilot involved in ferrying these goods was caught in trouble again as this is not the first time they lost a large shipment of cargo.
