Quantrite
Quantrite is a cut crafting material. The developers accidentally showcased it in the Mineral Trade screenshot on Update 12's steam page, shortly after it was replaced with a new screenshot where the resource was gone. It was later found that in a development build of Update 12 Quantrite can be obtained via the Mineral Trade terminal. While Quantrite was removed from the game's files for Update 14, its files made a peculiar return with the release of Update 34.
Although it's possible to spawn in a chunk of the mineral and its terrain appearance can be restored, according to a developer it eventually became Hollomite, whether this resource will return in any way is unknown. During the development of Deep Dives Quantrite makes an appearance as a placeholder icon for Matrix Cores.
Appearance
It's a thick, orange colored crystal with very small protrusions, there are orange studs around the object. Its chunk is a triangular orange glowing crystal.
