Template:SurvivorWeapons
This is a rough template for creating and/or editing new weapon pages on the DRG Survivor wiki. When creating a new weapon page, or editing an existing one, try to make sure it follows this outline for consistency. Any text in [blue] is where you need to enter text/values.
The [weapon name] is one of the weapons available to [class](Link to class page) in [DRG Survivor](Link to main page). It is unlocked by [unlock requirement], [along with its overclocks/and its overclocks are unlocked by reaching level 12 with the weapon during a dive].
Image should be inserted here using the format [[File:[image name]|right]]. Use the transparent simple images uploaded by Azerty11235.
[in game text, usually weapon description in first line]
[in game text, usually targetting method in second line]
Deals [damage type] damage (Format should use the standardized color and link to the damage type page)
Tags: [tags], [separated], [by], [commas] (damage type should use the same formatting as above)
Below tags and above the tables, we can add more detailed descriptions of the weapon. Use this area to further explain the targetting behavior, for example.
Stats should be filled in the /Data sub-page for each weapon, as this is how the global cargo tables get their data to display. The display of those stats on the pages will be done through templates, no need to add them to a table.
Overclocks will also be displayed through cargo templates, their data should be entered in Survivor:Overclocks/Data.
The table below should include only relevant stats for the weapon. I.E. the GK2 should not have beam count, but the CRSPR Flamethrower should. Use discretion as to which stats are important for the weapon's page.
Damage | |
Range | |
Reload Speed | |
Fire Rate | |
Clip Size | commonly projectile weapons |
Lifetime | commonly beam weapons |
Charges | commonly turret/drone weapons |
Beam Count | |
Beam Width | |
Rotation Speed | |
Explosion Radius |
The table below should include all overclocks available to the weapon. All damage types should be formatted the same as above damage tags. All overclock types should either be listed as Balanced or Unstable.
Name | Effects | Type |
---|---|---|
Example Name | Example Effect | Balanced |
Example Name | Example Effect | Unstable |
Below are the 6 current damage types with their correct coloring/formatting. Note that in the case of the Boltshark overclock "Cryo Bolt", the overclock reads "CRYO" instead of cold to reflect the in-game display, but still links to the "COLD" damage type.
