Class Mods or sub-classes

Scout Class Mods

The Classic subclass for Scout is the first subclass in the game, being the only one available to first-time players.

Recon has the stats to pull off narrow escapes and survive bugs in close proximity. He starts off with the Zhukov NUK17s, a gun that fires in four directions at once, which naturally fills its potential when the dwarf is surrounded on all sides. The subclass is unlocked at Scout Rank 09.

Sharp Shooter starts with the M1000 Classic, an incredibly powerful rifle whose high-caliber rounds can pierce 30 grunts. The subclass is unlocked at Scout Rank 18.

Gunner Class Mods

The Weapons Specialist subclass for Gunner starts with the "Lead Storm" Powered Minigun, a weapon that can only fire forwards. He can find any of up to 22 weapons during dives, offering a wider variety for the player's four weapon choices but also reducing the chance of finding any particular weapon during the dive. Weapons Specialist is the only Gunner subclass available when the player first unlocks Gunner at Player Rank 03.

Juggernaut is built for taking hits from glyphids. His starting weapon is the "Bulldog" Heavy Revolver, a no-nonsense, heavy-hitting gun with moderate piercing. Juggernaut has a tighter pool of available weapons, so there's a greater likelihood the player finds a particular set of Gunner weapons. The subclass is unlocked at Gunner Rank 09.

Heavy Gunner starts with the "Thunderhead" Heavy Autocannon, a weapon whose firepower entirely depends on being pointed in the right direction the moment it's ready. Unlike the Powered Minigun, the Heavy Autocannon can aim any direction, but once it starts firing it can't be turned. The subclass also offers improvements to all Heavy weapons. It is unlocked at Gunner Rank 18.

Main class: Survivor:Engineer

Maintenance Worker is unlocked at Player Rank 5, Tinkerer is unlocked at Class Rank 9, and Demolitionist is unlocked at Class Rank 18.

Driller Class Mods

Main class: Survivor:Driller

Foreman is unlocked at Player Rank 7, Interrogator is unlocked at Class Rank 9, and Strong Armed is unlocked at Class Rank 18.
