The "Hammercaster" 58MM is a heavy-hitting mag-fed weapon firing 58MM ammo with an additional propellant, on most occasions this would be considered an overkill, but not at these depths. The magazine is attached at the bottom after which the actual bullets are then loaded from the side. Whilst loading a bullet the "Hammercaster" will put an additional propellant behind it to give it more “oomph” this results in more power and higher recoil.

"Hammercaster" will deal twice the damage to armored parts on the enemies. The bullets will leave holes in the ground upon contact.

Trivia

• "Hammercaster" has 5 reload interactions that seem to show off the dwarf's liking towards it.
  • First one has the user wiping the display screen.
  • Second one shows the dwarf dusting off the gun's barrel.
  • Third one is the user quickly rubbing the front of the barrel to clean it.
  • Fourth one has the dwarf placing the gun closer to themselves and hugging it, giving it a few pats.
  • The last one will play through the 1st to the 3rd animation in quick succession with a smooch sound at the end.
